I JUST upgraded to Office 2008 this eveninghoping it would be an improvement and am having the same problems with ever file I have opened in Excel. I got a message to open or open without macros and as these files were not originally mine and I do not use the macros, I selected open and remove macros. On saving both files I have been working on, I get the out of memory message and have to hit ok several times as once is not enough. This is not a large file, maybe 40'ish columns and and 150 rows on three sheets.

I would be happy to send this file to any one who needs it because if Excel doesn't work, I will very shortly be unemployed.
