Using Solver Crashes Excel Application for MAC

Every time I try to use the "Solver" function in Excel on my new =
Macintosh=20
(OS X and Office:mac v. X), it crashes the application. Does anyone =
know=20
how to fix this or where I can go to get support?=20

Hi

Head to the Microsoft web site <a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://www.microsoft.com/mac/." target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/mac/.</a> Download and
install the service releases applicable to your version of office. Then use
Disk Utility to repair permissions on your hard drive.

That should take care the problem.
